On behalf of over a thousand of your new colleagues, welcome to Oregon State University! We are the dedicated employees who make this university work every single day. We are administrative assistants, IT professionals, custodians, lab technicians, and so much more.
As our union for classified staff, our mission is to ensure every one of us has the respect, fair pay, and safe working conditions we deserve. We do this by standing together to negotiate a legally binding contract with the university. We are a democratic, member-run organization, and our strength comes from our unity.

What is the difference between a Member and a Non-member?
All classified employees are covered by the benefits and protections of the contract our union negotiates. However, only members can vote on the contract, elect our leadership, and run for office. Our power to win strong contracts comes from high membership.
How are dues used?
Union dues are an investment in our collective power. They fund everything we need to win strong contracts and defend our rights, including skilled negotiators, legal support, organizing resources, and training for volunteer stewards.
