OSU June Membership Meeting

Please join SEIU Local 083 for the OSU June Membership Meeting on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM Pacific time.

This meeting is focused on what members can do before the June 30 rally. We will connect bargaining, layoff rights, our new office, and legislative outreach to one goal: a strong turnout that shows OSU workers are organized for a fair contract.

High-Level Agenda

• Bargaining update: where negotiations stand, what is at stake, and why June 30 turnout matters.
• Layoff rights: what members should do if they hear layoff rumors or receive notice, and why no one should navigate that alone.
• New Local 083 office: how the office can support member questions, organizing, and rally preparation.
• Legislative outreach: volunteers needed to meet with members of the Oregon House and Senate before the rally and explain why this contract matters.
• June 29 sign-making party: help make rally signs from 5:00-7:00 PM at Westminster House on Monroe.
• Commitments before June 30: sign up for the rally, bring a coworker, volunteer for outreach, and help turn out your work area.
