Bargaining Is Underway

As Classified workers at Oregon’s Public Universities, we are the foundation of higher education! We unite in support of the bargaining priorities you submitted to our bargaining team.

The Higher Education petition is now closed. Bargaining has begun, and the priorities below are what workers are fighting for at the table:

• Economics: Fair wages that keep up with cost of living.
• Benefit Protections: Affordable health insurance and strong PERS contributions.
• Workload: Sustainable workloads, remote work equity, and employment protections.
• Union Power: Mandatory New employee orientations, union communication access to new hires, and stronger layoff language.

When we stand together, we are powerful. With all of us united, there is nothing we can’t win.
