United for a fair contract

Updated as bargaining moves

We keep OSU running. We demand respect.

Fair wages. Strong health care. Job security. Read the notice, get prepared and talk with your coworkers about what comes next.

Why we are fighting

A fair contract must protect the people who keep OSU running.

Management's current package does not keep pace with living costs and would weaken core protections. Our collective action is how we move them.

Fair wages

Keep up with living costs

Management guarantees only one 0.75 percent COLA across four years. Our team proposes inflation-matching COLAs in a two-year contract.

Health care

Protect affordable coverage

Management wants to remove the guarantee of a low-cost health plan while wages are already falling behind.

Job security

Defend layoff rights

We are fighting to keep seniority-based protections and the rights workers rely on during layoffs.

Public jobs

Stop outsourcing

Management is pushing proposals that open the door to contracting out the work our members do on campus.

The pledge is not a strike-authorization vote.
