Plan for access and transportation
- Ask our team about accessible routes, restrooms, seating and breaks at your assigned location.
- Check public transit and parking arrangements, and plan your trip home.
- Arrange care for anyone who depends on you while you are away.
- If you need participation support, email our stewards about your needs before your shift.
Prepare for time outdoors
- Check the weather and bring layers, rain protection and comfortable footwear suited to your needs.
- Bring drinking water, food you need, medications and a charged phone.
- Save your assignment and organizer contact before leaving home.
When you arrive
Find the picket captain and follow the location’s current check-in and safety instructions. Keep entrances and accessible routes clear, and bring questions or conflicts to the captain.
